Because to solve real-life problems, only knowledge and information are not sufficient.  It needs a well-trained mind to solve the problems creatively. Hence, the focus of our education system should be to produce well-developed minds. Only creative minds can help our society to prosper. Otherwise, minds with a bunch of accumulated knowledge are futile if they don’t know how to use that knowledge.
